Katie Glynn - by Devasri

Learning Intention : W.A.L.T. Write  a recount.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Success Criteria:I know I can do this when I write a story about  Katie Glen  and use capital letters and full stop correctly..
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 St. Patrick's School went to the hall. Mrs Dines introduced  Katie Glynn, she is an Olympics Black Sticks Hockey player. Then Katie glyn showed us  some of  the pictures from her Olympics games.She played 134  games and scored 77 goals. 
She told us that she was inspired  by her mum and brother to play hockey .  
Finally we asked  her  questions and she  asked us back.  Lastly, Launoa  said thank you to Katie Glynn.

Learning Intention:W.A.L.T-retell one of the after Easter story.        Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I can retell an after Easter stores thru drawing a coming strip.                               
 1. Peter,John,and James went fishing.                                             2. They where fishing all night but caught nothing.                     3.Peter jumped in the water when he saw  Jesus on the shore and he swam to him.

Whales- by Deva

Learning Intention:W.A.L.T-Write a report                                       Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can write a report about whales.                                                                                                                                                                                             Whales are mammals.  Whales  live in water.                            Their babies are born alive.                                                                                                                                                                   Whales  are very big.                                                                   Whales have a fish shape.                                                           
The blue whales are the largest whales.                                                                                                                                               
Whales use their flippers and large tail to move.                     Whales have fins to balance.                                                                                                                                                                           Whales live in oceans.                                                                         Whales can survive in both warm and cold water.
