Prayer by Deva

Learning Intention:W.A.L.T- Recognise Lent as a season for turning  back to God. 
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I write a prayer.


Dear heavenly father please help the builders to build our class room.  Thank you for giving us families, friends and cousins. Thank you for all the creations you made for us like trees, animals, flowers, grass. Pleas help me to be respectful, kind, and helpful . Amen.

The Holidays

In the holidays I went to see my cousin.  His name is Hehaun.  He is just a baby so I could feed him and play with him.  Then it was time to give him a sleep.   After that we went home and my cousin came to my motel.  We played with my play dough.  Then my big sister came to pick up Hehaun and they went home.

Happy Father's Day

On Father's Day we went to my cousin's house for presents.  We gave our dad some presents. We gave him some chocolates and a jacket.  My dad said, "Thank you very much", and he gave my mum a kiss.  After that it was time for us to go back home.

Doing Science

In the holidays I played with my brother.  His name is Shivay.  He is older than I am, but we get to go to the same school.  We did some Science together.  We made a 3D swimming pool.  We made it out of paper and we used a little bit of water. 

We also used different coloured markers and paint.  We squeezed the paint onto the brush.  The markers were green, yellow, blue, pink and red.  When it was finished we looked at it through 3D glasses.  It looked different using the 3D glasses. 

Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day my brother and I surprised my mum when my mum was sleeping, by waking her up.  She yawned and stretched.  Then my brother and I hugged our mum and we gave her a present.  I gave a cake to my mum.  The cake was made of butter and chocolate.  My mum hugged me and gave me lots of kisses.  My mum had a happy Mother’s Day.
